Greetings!
I know that I’ve really not been all that great at updating lately, so I apologize. I’m not going to lie, going from one to two babies is definitely a task. Might be harder than going from zero to one… but it’s close. I just wanted to post a little update on how we are doing here at The Bean House, and talk about some upcoming posts I have brewing… as soon as I get a chance to upload some photos.
Charlotte is doing really well! We just went to her two month appointment (2 month photo to follow soon-ish) and she’s measuring around 24 inches long and 11 pounds! She’s growing like a weed, which makes sense since she demands to eat every two hours. I think we’re finally coming out of the darkness of the “newborn phase”. She’s starting to sleep almost completely through the night. She’ll go down to bed around 7:30-ish and won’t wake up again until four or five. Then, after a diaper change and feeding, she goes back down to bed until around eight. I’m going to be really sad when she starts teething and starts waking up every couple of hours again. Le sigh.
Sophie is also being a champion. She’s learned her colors (sort of) and we’re working on counting too! Thus far she counts like so, “One, Two, Four, Seven, Nine, Ten”. Then she breaks into a fit of laughter and clapping and her monumental accomplishment at “counting all the way to ten”. Her favorite game is counting the ornaments on the Christmas tree. She’s talking in sentences now too, which is pretty amazing. I can’t believe how fast she’s growing up.
